What are your future career plans & goals? I plan to work in the federal government in the investigation of human trafficking cases. I would like to work with Homeland Security or the FBI later in my career. I want to not only help survivors to escape their situation and ensure that they are cared for after all is said and done, but to also bring my specific knowledge and experience to a male-dominated field where there is much room for improvement when it comes to handling certain cases and protecting survivors.

Please describe your personality and character: I am a strong provider and a protector, having been the eldest daughter in my family with two younger siblings, which has shaped me quite a lot throughout my life. I am driven by injustice and the knowledge that if something must be done, it must be me. I am resilient and have had many hardships, but have been able to heal and grow spiritually and emotionally. I am a hard worker and I’m not afraid of challenges. I also am driven to leave everything better than how I found it, whether that is through a space, a feeling, or a person.
What are your hobbies, interests and talents? I am very active and played sports throughout all of my schooling. I love spending time outdoors and spend as much time as I can hiking, biking, swimming, snowboarding, surfing, and I’ll try just about anything. I also spend a lot of time working out and improving my physical health through weight lifting and yoga. I am a lover of literature and spend much of my free time either either reading or writing. I also love to paint.

Why do you want to be an Egg Donor? I have made the personal decision not to have biological children and I do not wish to be pregnant, but I am aware that I am perfectly able to do so, and have the privilege to do so, while others may not have the same opportunity. I would like to be a part of something bigger and give that chance to another family. While I have made this decision for myself for personal and moral reasons, I have all the love in the world for those who want to build their own families and who may need some help to do so.
What are your favorite books? The genres I most spend time reading are romance, nonfiction, and true crime. A few of my favorite books are The Bell jar by Sylvia Plath, Little Women by Louisa May Alcott, and Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
What are your academic strengths? I have never been the most academically gifted student in the room, but I am surely one of the hardest working. Academics has been my primary focus for most of my life and I have worked very hard while still struggling in the classroom in certain areas. I have a penchant for English and History, certainly with writing and I love those subjects very much.
What accomplishments are you particularly proud of? I have made a large variety of accomplishments within my capacity for leadership and guidance of others. I have been team captain, president, supervisor, or group leader more times than I can count and have naturally ascended to that role in many situations in school, sports, and at work. To know that someone has gained something through my leadership is an accomplishment all in itself.
